AFI KLM E&M global MRO network is now closer to an increased number of operators.

PARIS, FRANCE – Air France Industries increased its shareholding in Aero Maintenance Group (AMG) up to 81.39 percent. This component support specialist is a market leader in the United States. He has been a long-standing partner with Air France Industries and KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) maintenance operations.

By taking majority control of the US company, AFI KLM E&M is boosting its ability to operate from AMG's strategic platforms in Miami, FL; Atlanta, GA, and Dallas, TX. This allows the AFI KLM E&M global MRO network to be closer to an increased number of operators in the region and to extend its capabilities.

For AFI President, Alain Bassil, "this majority position enables AFI KLM E&M to consolidate its presence and market share in the Americas. It consolidates a long-term partnership with a highly skilled and performing Company, AMG which was initiated in 2004, and also allows us to bring more services to operators, offering enhanced proximity, reactivity, and flexibility."

"Aero Maintenance Group has grown quickly in the last few years with the support of AFI KLM E&M, serving many customers in the commercial and regional components business both in North America and South America," says Ben Quevedo, AMG Group CEO. "Our plan is to continue to do so."
