ATI Adds JT15D Engine Overhaul to Capabilities

Pratt & Whitney Canada correlated ATI's test cell utilizing the JT15D-5D Engine in June.

Aviation Turbines International Inc. (ATI), an AVMATS-related company, has added the JT15D Series Engine Overhaul to the Hot Section & Repair Services. On June 12, 2009, ATI's Test Cell was correlated by Pratt & Whitney Canada utilizing the JT15D-5D Engine (rated at 3,045 pounds of thrust), the highest thrust engine of the JT15D family. ATI will have the ability to perform complete overhaul of the engine along with the accessories such as the fuel controls, bleed air valve, anti-ice valve, motive flow valve, fuel nozzles, and fuel pumps.

ATI is a repair and overhaul facility for the Pratt & Whitney JT12 and JT15D and the General Electric CF700 and CJ610 engines. ATI also offers repair and overhaul services for the and Sundstrand and Honeywell APUs. Additionally, ATI has capabilities to overhaul fuel and oil components and has a full machine shop including CNC mills and lathes.
