AkzoNobel Aerospace Coatings to Showcase Russian Production Facility
New two-coat system and a military camouflage coating also on the docket for the year.
This year AkzoNobel Aerospace Coatings will showcase its new Russian production facility, a major new two-coat system, and its military camouflage coating Aerodur 5000.
The company's new Eastern Europe production facility in Moscow is due to open by November 2009. The new plant will feature the latest production and color matching technology and will mean a faster service for a wider choice of products and colors to meet growing demand for AkzoNobel Aerospace Coatings products in the region.
A brand new two-coat system, Aerodur 3001/3002, which has taken several years to develop, will launch internationally later this year. AkzoNobel says it will save up to 30 percent cycle/process time and offer significant application, cost, and aesthetic maintenance benefits for airlines and OEMs.
