AAR Signs LOI to Join SuperJet International Service Center Network

AAR will provide SSJ100 operators with heavy airframe maintenance, modifications, interior and exterior refurbishments, unscheduled maintenance services, line and RON maintenance.

WOOD DALE, ILLINOIS (July 23, 2009) — AAR CORP. (NYSE: AIR) announced today that the Company has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with SuperJet International S.p.A. to become a service center for the new Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) aircraft. As part of SuperJet’s network of Service Centers, AAR will provide SSJ100 operators with heavy airframe maintenance, modifications, interior and exterior refurbishments, unscheduled maintenance services, line and RON maintenance and will have field teams to provide off-site support.
