Mark Taylor Appointed General Manager for ERO Component Repair and Accessories
Taylor will have global responsibility for all component repair and accessories activities including P&L, strategic and resource planning.
Dallas, Texas…August 11, 2009…BBA Aviation Engine Repair and Overhaul (ERO) has appointed company veteran Mark Taylor as General Manager, ERO Component Repair and Accessories effective September 1, 2009. In this new post, Taylor will have global responsibility for all component repair and accessories activities including P&L, strategic and resource planning.
Taylor has worked for ERO’s H+S Aviation in Portsmouth, England for more than 19 years, including six years overseeing H+S Aviation’s component repair program. In addition to Portsmouth’s repair program, all U.S.-based component repair activity of Dallas Airmotive and Premier Turbines will report through Taylor.
“Mark is ideally suited for this role,” stated BBA Aviation ERO President Hugh McElroy. “In addition to his hands-on experience at H+S, he was the principal architect of the blueprint for our global component repair and accessories business. We see component and accessory repair as a long-term growth opportunity for our worldwide services and one that will benefit from being operated as a business unit with centralized coordination.”
Taylor will be based in Portsmouth, England.
