Huntsville, AL -- WestWind Technologies, Inc. recently announced the appointment of Roger Tanner to the position of Business Development Manager for Hangar Operations.
Tanner has been with WestWind for six years as Hangar Operations Manager, and is a U.S. Navy Veteran with over 20 years of aviation experience with both commercial airlines and major defense contractors. Under his supervision, WestWind earned praise for successfully completing on-site desert modifications for various U.S. Army units at Fort Bragg and Redstone Arsenal, and work was accomplished ahead of schedule.
Tanner’s appointment coincides with the opening of WestWind’s new hangar, the Huntsville Aircraft Modification and Integration Center, at the Huntsville International Airport. The state-of-the-art facility brings a new level of service and convenience for both commercial and military customers. The hangar opening is part of an overall strategy to enhance “concept to completion” solutions for the aircraft industry as an addition to the current core capabilities offered by WestWind: engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and modification and integration.
