Lincoln, MA, August 21, 2009--– Avidyne Corporation, a leading provider of integrated flight deck and safety systems for general aviation aircraft announced today that RGV Aviation Limited of Gloucester, U.K. has completed and delivered the first internationally-based Cirrus SR22 aircraft retrofit of an Entegra Release 9 Integrated Flight Deck (IFD) system.
“We are quite familiar with Avidyne, working closely with them most recently on their MLX770 and TWX670 retrofits, so partnering on the Entegra Release 9 retrofit program is a natural fit for us,” said Alec Vincent, RGV’s Avionics Manager. “We’ve been really impressed with the Release 9 system, and we have many customers who are now inquiring about upgrading their aircraft.”
