LA GUARDIA AIRPORT, New York (August 27, 2009) – FlightSafety International has been awarded a contract from Singapore Flying College, a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, to design, manufacture and support two Cessna Citation Mustang full flight simulators and an advanced Integrated Procedures Trainer.

The two simulators and one Integrated Procedures Trainer are scheduled for delivery to the Singapore Flying College during 2010 and 2011. The devices will be used for both primary and advanced pilot training programs.

“We are pleased that Singapore Flying College has selected FlightSafety’s industry leading simulation equipment,” said Bruce Whitman, President & CEO. “This order is a further indication of our growing presence in the air transport market and in the Pacific region. We have recently delivered simulators for the Embraer 170 and Bombardier Q300 and Q400 aircraft as well as a Weapons Systems Trainer and Loadmaster Trainer for the Boeing C-17.”

The full flight simulators will be equipped with FlightSafety’s 60 inch electric motion and control loading technology, advanced VITAL X visual system, and new SimIO and SimPWR systems. Simulators equipped with the company’s electric motion and control loading offer the highest level of aircraft fidelity, enhanced performance and increased availability due to a reduction in maintenance requirements and increased reliability. The VITAL X visual system provides highly detailed, texture enhanced scenes and excels in its realistic presentation of both routine and critical weather conditions. SimIO and SimPWR are FlightSafety’s latest advances in flight simulator data input and output control and power distribution.

“These systems provide our customers with a significant advantage in terms of training and reliability and demonstrate our ability and commitment to design and integrate new advanced technologies into our industry leading training devices,” said Rick Armstrong, Vice President, Simulation.
