Tracy Simpson Appointed Vice President, Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Development for Crane Aerospace & Electronics
Simpson will be responsible for leading the Aerospace Group efforts to drive improvements and develop strategy for the supply chain.
LYNNWOOD, Wash. – August 21, 2009 – Crane Aerospace & Electronics, a segment of Crane Co. (NYSE:CR), has announced the appointment of Tracy Simpson as Vice President, Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Development. In this role, Simpson will be responsible for leading the Aerospace Group efforts to drive improvements and develop strategy for the supply chain.
Simpson has been with Crane Aerospace & Electronics for over 20 years, primarily in Operations related roles. Most recently he served as Vice President and General Manager of the Lynnwood, Washington site. Prior to Crane, Simpson worked for Fairchild Controls Company and before that for EATON Consolidated Controls as a Manufacturing Engineer. Simpson earned a bachelor’s degree in History/Language from University of Washington, a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology from California State University and has also completed the University of Washington Management Program.
