Minneapolis-St. Paul – Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) has launched its own Facebook Page, giving customers, employees and neighbors of MSP easy access to the latest airport news and information.
MSP’s Facebook Page also provides ideas for making the most of your time during a layover, special offers on dining and shopping, and a photo gallery. Upcoming events, such as book signings, shop and restaurant openings, art displays and musical performances will also be posted to keep travelers informed about happenings at MSP.
Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) Executive Director Jeff Hamiel said, “Social media is another avenue for us to communicate with our customers about airport amenities and services as well as to keep them informed of changes at MSP that could impact their trip. By using two of the most popular social media sites, Facebook and Twitter, we can reach our customers where they spend their time.”
The $8.5 million terminal had 600,000 square feet and boasted 24 gates on two concourses, or “piers,” when it opened in 1962.
