John Burnum & Blair Descourouez Join King Aerospace

King Aerospace Commercial Corp. names aviation veterans John Burnum and Blair Descourouez as Regional Sales Managers.

September 22, 2009 Addison, TX…King Aerospace Commercial Corporation (KACC), a leading aircraft services provider, has named aviation veterans John Burnum and Blair Descourouez as Regional Sales Managers.

Burnum, who was previously with Gulfstream Aerospace as a Completion Sales Executive, has been assigned sales and marketing responsibility for Eastern United States. Heading up the Western US sales and marketing efforts is Descourouez who most recently served as Vice President of Operations for Ambassador Jet Center.

“Having two regional sales managers with extensive sales and marketing experience is a real plus for our organization,” said Jerry King-Echevarria, Chairman and Founder of King Aerospace. “Building long-term customer relationships is key to our business success and both John and Blair bring the necessary experience and skills to make this happen.”

Burnum has more than 20 years experience in managing aircraft completions, refurbishments and maintenance projects. Besides Gulfstream, he has held positions of increasing responsibility with K-C Aviation.

Descourouez, who has also held management positions with Double Diamond Resorts and Business Jet Access, has 14 years aviation experience including aircraft management, charter, refurbishment and aircraft sales.

Much of King Aerospace’s modification work is done at their 200,000 sq. ft. Ardmore, Oklahoma Service Center. The expansive facility is well equipped to handle wide-body airframes and virtually any size of business aircraft from Boeing Business Jets, Gulfstreams and Challengers to Falcons, Hawkers and Citations. The facility includes four hangars that incorporate a large aircraft paint bay as well as aircraft modification and refurbishment shops. In addition, the facility is an FAA Certified Repair Station.
