CHICAGO – JSSI, the world’s largest, independent provider of hourly cost maintenance programs for the business aviation industry, announced that former Air Force One Chief Pilot, Colonel Mark Tillman has joined the Company’s Board of Directors.

“I could not be more pleased to be joining the board,” said Colonel Tillman. “Even Air Force One has a budget. In my 30+ years of flying, I have never found an equivalent to JSSI. Aircraft are expensive investments, and it makes sense to protect the integrity of that investment while enhancing the resale value of the aircraft. I know how challenging it is for corporate flight operations to stay within that budget, without compromising maintenance and safety standards. JSSI really makes the difference by managing overall maintenance costs with their purchasing power and by utilizing the best technical experts in the industry,”

For the past eight years, Colonel Tillman has served as the Commander of the Presidential Airlift Group and Chief Pilot for the President of the United States. Beyond piloting the world’s most sophisticated aircraft, Colonel Tillman was responsible for all aspects of operations for Air Force One, including security, maintenance, parts, facilities, communications, budgeting, personnel and training.

JSSI CEO, Lou Seno, stated, “As Chief Pilot of Air Force One, Colonel Tillman has the most unique set of experiences in the aviation industry. His background and perspective gained from being at the controls for over 49 foreign trips to 75 countries, will add tremendous value to JSSI and the services we provide to our clients and the thousands of aircraft we are responsible for on a daily basis.”
