Duncan Aviation Announces Promotions

Chad Ostertag and Nate Darlington have been added to Duncan's sales team, and Bill Gehman is assistant manager of customer service.

Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce that Chad Ostertag has accepted the position of Avionics Installations Sales Representative. In his new role, Ostertag will help aircraft owners and operators upgrade their cockpit and cabin avionics, providing comprehensive advice and thorough proposals to help customers make informed buying decisions.

“Chad began his career at Duncan Aviation in 2007 as an Avionics Installation Technician and has taken on a leadership role in many projects,” says Phil Suglia, Sales Manager at Duncan Aviation—Battle Creek. “His passion for avionics technology and his customer focus make him a perfect fit for the team.”

Nate Darlington has accepted the position of Completions Sales Representative. In his new role, Darlington will help aircraft owners and operators upgrade and refurbish the interiors and exteriors of their aircraft, providing comprehensive advice and proposals to help customers make informed buying decisions.

Darlington started at Duncan Aviation in 2001 in Interior Completions and has held several leadership roles throughout his career, including Second Shift Interior Supervisor and Interior Department Scheduler.

Bill Gehman has accepted the position of Customer Service Assistant Manager. In his new role, Gehman will provide leadership, support and coaching to the Customer Service and the FBO Services Departments located at Duncan Aviation Battle Creek in Michigan. He will also continue to provide support on various projects, billing, customer resolution and scheduling.

Geham has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, an A&P license and has been with Duncan Aviation for 13 years. He started his career as an airframe mechanic in Kalamazoo, Mich., working on piston and turboprop aircraft. In 1997, he became Team Leader of Duncan Aviation’s regional airline maintenance team. Since then, he has also held the positions of Project Manager and NetJets Program Manager.

“Bill’s customer service experience and his leadership make him a great fit for this new role,” says Kory Thomas, Manager of Customer Service. “We are excited to have him on the leadership team.”
