Orlando, Florida…October 19, 2009…BBA Aviation Engine Repair and Overhaul (ERO) company Dallas Airmotive has expanded the auxiliary power unit (APU) test cell capability at its Heritage Park facility in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. The cell is now factory correlated for the Honeywell 36-150F2M APU. The 36-150F2M has a higher power rating than other 36-150 APUs, and capability to test this unit is inclusive of the entire 36-150 series.

“This enhanced capability enables us to perform all APU testing on-site rather than sending some units to the OEM for test,” stated BBA Aviation ERO VP Operations, Nandu Madireddi “The savings in time and cost will be a great benefit to the customer.”

The Honeywell 36-100 and -150 series APUs are the most widely used auxiliary power units in business aviation. Dallas Airmotive is Honeywell authorized as a Heavy/Overhaul Service Center for these units at its Heritage Park facility. Dallas Airmotive is also a Line Maintenance Service Center for the RE100, one of the newer APU offerings from Honeywell.
