Dallas Airmotive Receives Enhanced CFE738 Authorization

Orlando, Florida…October 19, 2009…BBA Aviation Engine Repair and Overhaul (ERO) company Dallas Airmotive has been elevated by Honeywell to Authorized Minor Service Center for the CFE738 engine. The company was previously an Authorized Line Service Center.

The authorization enables Dallas Airmotive to remove and replace peripheral accessories and components, perform routine service inspections, 300/600 hour inspections, filter/igniter changes, fan trim balance and compressor/fan water wash, perform borescope inspection, gearbox/PMA removal and engine removal/installation, perform ‘A’ sump removal and repair, fan repairs, No. 3 sump removal and repair and comply with Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives applicable to Minor level maintenance.

With our experienced field service support team, we are well positioned to provide the kind of service that this engine demands.” The CFE738 powers the Dassault Falcon 2000 of which some 160 are in the fleet.
