FlightSafety Introduces New Online International Procedures Recurrent Training Course

This self-paced course is delivered entirely over the internet, and uses a variety of flight scenarios to help prepare for international flights and the associated regulatory requirements.

LaGuardia Airport, New York (October 20, 2009) – FlightSafety International introduces a new online International Procedures Recurrent course.

This self-paced course is delivered entirely over the internet, and uses a variety of flight scenarios to help prepare for international flights and the associated regulatory requirements. The three flight scenarios include: Teterboro, NJ to Copenhagen, Denmark; Copenhagen, Denmark to Almaty, Kazakhstan; and Beijing, China to Teterboro, NJ.

“FlightSafety’s customers will benefit from our comprehensive scenario-based course for International Procedures,” said Ariel Landau, eLearning Operations Manager. “This course draws upon FlightSafety’s 30 years of experience as a provider of international operations training to pilots who fly for civil, military, and government agencies worldwide.”

This International Procedures Recurrent course meets all FAA training objectives for MNPS, RVSM, RNP-4, RNP-10, B-RNAV and P-RNAV Special Use Airspace.

Customers who enroll in the program will have access to the course for one full year, allowing them to log into the system anytime to refresh and update their knowledge. They will also have access to a library of additional resources including information on new or future requirements such as ETOPS, CPDLC, ADS and SMS.

Initial and recurrent International Procedures training courses are also available on-site at many FlightSafety Learning Centers or at a Customer’s facility upon request. “This provides our Customers a full range of choices in how they receive this important training,” said Landau. “As an added convenience, Customers who are registered on the myFlightSafety internet portal can also access and download their records of training.”
