Derco Aerospace Signs Exclusive Four-Year L-100 Total Logistics Support Agreement With Safair Operations

Under the agreement, Derco will manage and provide all parts and repairs for Safair's flight line, and intermediate and depot-level maintenance activities supporting the L-100 fleet.

MILWAUKEE, Oct. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Derco Aerospace, a Sikorsky Aerospace Services company, announced today it has signed an exclusive four-year agreement to provide total logistics support for Safair Operations' fleet of eight L-100 aircraft. Sikorsky Aerospace Services is the worldwide aftermarket business of Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).

Under the agreement, Derco will manage and provide all parts and repairs for Safair's flight line, and intermediate and depot-level maintenance activities supporting the L-100 fleet. Derco will provide Safair with a fixed cost per flight hour support solution and an expanded consumable consignment inventory at Safair's Johannesburg, South Africa, location.
