Rye Brook, NY - October 21, 2009: Wayfarer Aviation, Inc., a worldwide leader in aircraft management and charter, announced today it is has obtained registration of their International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO).

IS-BAO is an industry code of practice, similar to ISO 9000 standards, used by business aviation operators of all sizes to manage the safety, security, efficiency and effectiveness of their flight departments. The core of the IS-BAO is the operator's safety management system (SMS). The SMS includes a strategy and set of tools that enable an organization to systematically manage every facet of its operation to identify safety and security hazards and associated risks to mitigate them.

IS-BAO operators - small and large - consistently report that adopting the standard results in a cultural transformation that has made them safer and more secure. Many operators also report improved ability to measure and communicate their benefits to management, greatly enhanced customer satisfaction, and significant savings on insurance.

"The successful registration of IS-BAO for Wayfarer further defines our goal as a safe and secure operator of business aviation aircraft worldwide," said Sheryle Milligan, Vice President of Safety, Wayfarer Aviation, Inc. "The registration process validated many of our existing procedures and set a good frame-work for our operations not only from a compliance and safety perspective, but also from an efficiency perspective."

The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) and European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) announced recently that the IS- BAO had been granted official European recognition as an industry standard for business aircraft operations. This recognition was achieved through a Workshop Agreement from the European Committee for Standardization. The IS-BAO award came after a 10-month open process that was managed by the Nederlandís Normalisatie-instituut (NEN) and involved business aviation and regulatory authority representatives.

"The strength of our management services are based on our second to none safety and operationís platform," stated Bill Koch, CEO of Wayfarer Aviation, Inc. "IS-BAO sets a benchmark for our industry and Wayfarerís clients benefit from efficient and safe flight operations with additional savings to their aircraft operating costs."
