Minneapolis, MN, December 10, 2009 — MSP Jet Center, LLC, a division of ASI Jet Center, has opened a new business jet maintenance facility located at Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP).

Located adjacent to Signature Flight Support, MSP Jet Center specializes in the inspection, maintenance and repair of popular mid- to large-cabin business jets including Bombardier Challenger/Global series, Bombardier Learjets, Cessna Citation, Dassault Falcon, Embraer, Gulfstream, Hawker 400/700/800 series, IAI Westland/Astra, Sabreliner or "anything else you can put in our hangar."

"This is a very exciting event for us. As long as I have been in the business, there has never been an opportunity available to serve this important market here at MSP," explained ASI/MSP Jet Center President, Tim Ashenfelter. "When General Dynamics Aviation Services closed its Minneapolis maintenance facility, it left a gigantic void for business jet operators in the area. Now that we've opened MSP Jet Center locally-based and transient business jet operators can again get the best in maintenance and related services right here in the Twin Cities, Metro area."

Ashenfelter said that the company also offers a complete array of support, inspections and maintenance services for popular turbofan and turbojet engines including the Honeywell TPE331, TFE731, Pratt and Whitney PW305/306 and Rolls Royce engines, as well as Honeywell and Hamilton Standard APU's.

"Gulfstream G200 owner/operators will be especially happy to learn that we have G200 Master Technician Terry Speight as our technical team leader," Dan Henchal, MSP's Director of Technical Services added. "Terry is just one example of the extremely high level of skill and experience we have on our team at MSP Jet Center."

In addition to its list of airframe and engine inspection, maintenance and overhaul services, MSP Jet Center will also offer avionics maintenance and upgrades as well as aircraft cabin design and refurbishment through exterior paint and detailing.

"MSP Jet Center will truly be a 'one-stop' shop for our customers," Ashenfelter added. "Our highly-experienced team of professionals will help ensure that our customers' aircraft are ready to meet their travel demands in the most convenient and cost-effective way possible."
