Twin Commander Aircraft has completed its relocation from Arlington, Washington, to Creedmoor, North Carolina. The last few remaining inventory items are being placed in Twin Commander's warehouse in Creedmoor, just north of Charlotte, but Twin Commander has been fulfilling parts orders from Creedmoor since November 16.
The physical move was choreographed to take place in stages over the summer, and involved the transport of tons of tooling, parts, and equipment by truck and rail. “Our planning objective was to provide uninterrupted service to our customers during the move,” commented Twin Commander Aircraft President Matt Isley, “and I'm pleased to report that we achieved that goal.
“The success of the transition is due in large part to the hard work put in by our factory-authorized Service Center network,” he added. “During the relocation process our Twin Commander staff members were on the phone constantly with Service Center representatives to make sure that aircraft in the fleet were well-supplied with necessary parts and technical support.”
Isley said the move comes with renewed commitment to support Twin Commander owners and operators “with only the very best in components and technical services for their aircraft. We also will maintain our policy of aggressively providing owners with the information, technical expertise, modifications, and upgrades that ensure they have full and complete confidence in the safety and reliability of their aircraft.
“We will continue to provide the Twin Commander fleet with the highest quality, most cost-effective parts availability program of any airframe in its class,” he said. “Along with our Service Center partners, Commander owners and operators can rely on the same parts and service excellence that has kept the fleet looking and performing like new.”
