Worcester, PA, December 2009 - Techni-Tool, Inc. has been awarded the Northrop Grumman 2009 World Class Supplier Award, one of only 42 suppliers recognized for their outstanding performance and support of Northrop Grumman's Socio-Economic Business Programs (SEBP).
Acknowledged as consistently demonstrating responsiveness and flexibility to help meet Northrop Grumman's needs, Techni-Tool was also recognized for a high quality of work, on-time delivery, outstanding cost management and reliable performance. Techni-Tool, a NGC Navigations Systems Division (NSD) tool and supplies distributor, has maintained a 100% quality rating over the past year. They have delivered over thousands of items to Northrop Grumman in the first quarter of 2009 alone, maintaining a return rate of less than 1%. Techni-Tool has also been instrumental in supporting Northrop Grumman's tool crib with supplier managed inventory.
Paul Weiss, President of Techni-Tool, along with Tony Ramey, Techni-Tool's Western Regional Manager, were present to receive the award. "We're very pleased to be recognized for the effort and energy we put into servicing our accounts", said Weiss. "It is always an honor to be acknowledged for what we do every day."
