Aero Accessories Inc. Acquires the Aviation Sparkplug Product Line Previously Marketed Under the Autolite Brand

Aero will relocate the Unison sparkplug product line to its manufacturing facility in Gibsonville, NC.

GIBSONVILLE, NC — Aero Accessories, Inc., the manufacturer of Tempest® brand aviation products, today announces the acquisition of Unison Industries, LLC’s aviation sparkplug product line. Unison previously marketed this sparkplug line under the Autolite® brand. Aero will relocate the sparkplug product line to its manufacturing facility in Gibsonville, NC. The product line will be branded and marketed under the popular Tempest name. Aero anticipates delivering the first Tempest brand sparkplugs in early March although specific details are not yet available and will be forthcoming.

Herman added “Tempest will offer the aviation consumer competitive sparkplugs manufactured to the same high quality standards that have made Tempest oil filters, dry air pumps, carburetors, and other related engine components industry leaders.”

Tempest is the leading brand of pneumatic, filtration, and fuel systems, including a complete line of OEM carburetors and fuel pumps, ignition components, oil and pneumatic filtration products, and specialty tools. The manufacturing facilities are located in Gibsonville, NC, with sales and marketing offices located in Greenville, SC and Atlanta, GA.
