Universal Avionics Senior Vice President Donald Berlin Retires
He will continue to advise Universal Avionics in Business Development on a consulting basis.
Tucson, AZ – January 15, 2010 – Universal Avionics Systems Corporation announces the retirement of Senior Vice President and Board of Directors member, Donald D. Berlin.
Having been in senior management positions since the introduction of the company’s first product in 1982, Mr. Berlin has been instrumental in guiding Universal’s evolution from a small start-up to the large multi-national corporation it is today.
In his 28-year career at Universal, Mr. Berlin served 2 years as COO where he was responsible for the company’s worldwide operations. He spent 24 years as Vice President of Marketing & Support. More recently, he served as Senior Vice President focusing on extending Universal’s business development through alliances, strategic partnerships and joint product development. With over 40 years experience in the aviation industry, Mr. Berlin was a valued member of the company’s Board of Directors. He will continue to advise Universal Avionics in Business Development on a consulting basis.
