FlightSafety’s customers can now request that the company transmit their flight crew training information electronically directly to CharterX/Wyvern and ARGUS.

LaGuardia Airport, New York (January 28, 2010) – FlightSafety International is pleased to introduce a new service for its Customers who also utilize the ARGUS CHEQ and CharterX/Wyvern PASS systems. FlightSafety’s customers can now request that the company transmit their flight crew training information electronically directly to CharterX/Wyvern and ARGUS. The information will then be incorporated into their respective PASS (Pilot & Aircraft Safety Survey) and CHEQ (Charter Evaluation and Qualification) systems.

“This solution will help operators who train with FlightSafety to ensure that the information CharterX/Wyvern and ARGUS have is up-to-date and accurate,” said Chris Weinberg, Director of Strategy & Business Development. “This will also help our Customers to reduce the cost and risk of data entry errors and to eliminate the time they currently spend entering the information themselves.”

CharterX/Wyvern and ARGUS provide aircraft charter customers with comprehensive reports on charter operators, their aircraft and flight crews, enabling them to review and verify critical information prior to booking a flight. The reports include the type ratings and training history of each flight crew member, the operator’s certificate information, the entity that will have operational control over the aircraft, as well as any accidents, incidents or violations that have occurred.

The two reports will also indicate whether the pilots that will be flying the aircraft adhere to FlightSafety’s twice a year training program and if they hold a current FlightSafety ProCard and/or SafetyStar certification.

ProCards are only issued to professional pilots who complete FlightSafety’s comprehensive training program and have demonstrated a high level of proficiency and a commitment to excellence. Silver and Gold FlightSafety ProCards are issued to pilots who have successfully completed their training and consistently exceed the ATP/Type Rating Practical Test Standards (ATP PTS). SafetyStar certification is awarded to pilots that have earned at least eight consecutive FlightSafety ProCards including at least one within the last year.

FlightSafety provides factory authorized training services for the vast majority of business aircraft manufacturers. The company offers a wide variety of professional training programs that can be tailored to the specific operational requirements of its Customers. The comprehensive training courses are designed to enhance safety and to help ensure that the aircraft are operated and maintained efficiently and effectively.
