WOOD DALE, ILLINOIS (February 04, 2010) — AAR (NYSE: AIR) announced today that it has been selected by Cobham Aviation Services UK to provide repair management and overhaul services in support of Cobham’s maintenance facility in Bournemouth, England. The program will be managed by AAR’s Defense Systems & Logistics operating unit.

AAR will provide a single point of contact for the repair of components that Cobham previously serviced internally or outsourced to multiple vendors. The program will focus primarily on Cobham’s Falcon 20, Dornier 228 and King Air aircraft. AAR’s repair management services will enable Cobham to streamline its supply chain and increase the efficiency of its maintenance operations.

“We are excited to work with Cobham to provide them with an efficient, cost-effective component repair program in support of their maintenance activities,” said David N. Perri, vice president and general manager of AAR Defense Systems & Logistics. “With our experience managing sophisticated supply chains and our history of solid execution, we are confident that this is the first step towards a long and mutually beneficial relationship between AAR and Cobham.”

AAR has extensive experience with supply chain and component repair management for commercial airline and government fleets, including the UK Ministry of Defence’s fleet of E3-D Sentry aircraft based at the RAF’s base in Waddington and the United States Air Force’s E-8 Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS). In addition, AAR was recently selected to provide supply chain services and logistics support as a member of the Northrop Grumman team on the KC-10 Extender Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) program.
