Russian Helicopters to Enter the US Market Once Again

Russian chief designers for Kamov and Mil will present the Ka-32A11BC and the Mi-171 models to American audiences at Heli-Expo.

For the first time in US – Russian “helicopter” relationship history, two Russian chief designers for Kamov and Mil, managed by the Russian Helicopters holding company, will present the Ka-32A11BC and the Mi-171 models to American audiences.

The event will take place during the HAI, Heli-Expo 2010 in Houston, Texas, February 21-23.

Presentations of the Russian rotary-wing machines will take place at the “Russian Hour’ which will be organized by the Helicopter Industry Association of Russia for the third time. The “Russian Hour” will be devoted to the giving you an understanding of the current Russian helicopter market and will feature a number of presentations by representatives of Russian companies plus CEOs and representatives of Russian State Corporations involved in the Russian helicopter industry.

This year, for the first time, the delegation of the Helicopter Industry Association of Russia will consist of representatives from: Oboronprom United Industrial Corporation, Russian Helicopters, UTàir, Ulan-Ude Helicopter Plant, Progress Arseniev Aircraft Company, Kamov and the Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant.
