SoCal Jets Provides a Reliable Source for Corporate Aircraft Maintenance and Support

Feb. 18, 2010
SoCal Jets has received certification from the Mexican DGAC.

Van Nuys, CA. February 15, 2010 -- After selling RoigWest to Crownair Aviation in 2008, Robert and Ann Roig, who founded RoigWest in 1984, decided to buy back their company in June 2009. Upon assembling a group of like-minded individuals who all had the same desire to build something new and exciting, they decided to rename it SoCal Jets Inc.

Robert Roig, President of SoCal Jets, has been a fixture at Van Nuys Airport since 1985 as the founder and President of RoigWest. RoigWest earned a reputation for efficient and high-quality service on Hawkers, Challengers, Learjets, and Falcons. For 15 years RoigWest shared a hangar with IFR Avionics at Peterson Aviation (currently Maguire Aviation) and SoCal Jets now calls that same hangar home but inhabits the entire 18,000 square foot facility.

SoCal Jets employs some of the best corporate aircraft technicians with the “can do” attitudes that make a company successful. With a minimum of 12 years of experience, all of their technicians hold a FAA, A&P certificate, with three A&P’s that maintain their Inspection Authorization. You may wonder why that is important. It means that each employee is dedicated to maintaining aircraft to the highest standard and that they are committed to the safety of their customers. SoCal Jets services a wide variety of aircraft including Gulfstream, Challenger, Falcon, Hawker, Learjet, Citation, Westwind, King Air, and Beechjet.

SoCal Jets also services many aircraft in Mexico. They are very proud to be one of only a handful of U.S. companies to have received certification from the Mexican DGAC. Mexico has been a large part of their business and they are grateful to have such a wonderful relationship with all of those customers. Many of their employees are bilingual so communication is never an issue if a customer is more comfortable with speaking Spanish.

When you come to SoCal Jets, you are never looked at as just a customer account number. They consider all of their customers to be good friends and look forward to seeing them at each visit. Southern California has so much to do that you might forget that you are here on business. Their staff will assist you with travel arrangements and with whatever you may need while you are here. You will be kept up to date with the progress of your aircraft each and every step of the way. They can arrange anything from paint and interior repairs or refurbishment to installs and modifications. The goal is to take the worries off of your shoulders so that you can relax knowing that they are there for you.
