Feb. 23, 2010
All aspects of support will be covered, from writing the specifications, initial provisioning studies, home base allocation to repair and overhaul, troubleshooting, documentation and engineering services.

Lufthansa Technik has extended its popular Total Component Support TCS® onto the complete fleet of Embraer E-Jets in service with Lufthansa Regional. A long-term agreement recently signed with Lufthansa CityLine added further 20 aircraft of the E-190/195 series to the contracts already running with Augsburg Airways, who will operate seven aircraft, and Air Dolomiti, who already operate five aircraft.

Under its TCS®-product Lufthansa Technik will take care of supplying the Embraer Jets with components from its dedicated regional aircraft parts pool in Munich. All aspects of support will be covered, from writing the specifications, initial provisioning studies, home base allocation to repair and overhaul, troubleshooting, documentation and engineering services. The contract further includes a wheels and brakes support.

With the recent contracts, Lufthansa Technik is even further expanding its customer base in the regional aircraft market. Its expertise in this sector covers a wide spectrum of MRO and support services for numerous aircraft types including the Bombardier CRJ and Q-Series, as well as the Embraer ERJ and E-170/190-families. In addition, Lufthansa Technik´s AERO Alzey facility is one of the leading independent service providers for the regional turboprop and jet engine types PW100, PW150 and CF34-3, -8 and -10.
