MRO MIDDLE EAST CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION, DUBAI, February 28, 2010 – Chromalloy announced today that it has opened a new sales and marketing office in Dubai to provide the region’s gas turbine engine operators – including aviation, marine and industrial gas turbine operators – with a lower cost alternative for parts and services.

“Chromalloy is growing our engine aftermarket business to offer the region’s turbine operators with parts, repairs and other services that deliver significant cost savings over original equipment manufacturer pricing,” said Armand F. Lauzon, Jr., President.

“We provide commercial and military aircraft operators parts and repairs that offer outstanding reliability and performance, as they deliver significant cost savings. For marine and industrial turbine engine operators, we offer the same proven performance and savings,” Lauzon said.

The new Chromalloy office is located in the Third East Wing of the Dubai Airport Free Zone.

The announcement came during the MRO Middle East Conference and Exhibition event and gathering at the Dubai Airport Expo Center. During the past 12 months Chromalloy also has announced other growth in its worldwide manufacturing, service and sales network.

In 2009, the company, partnering with Saudi Arabia Airlines, inaugurated a new service center in Jeddah. The center provides parts and materials for the air carrier’s aircraft engines and auxiliary power units, helping the airline “significantly reduce its own engine maintenance costs as well as costs for third-party customer fleets,” Lauzon said.

Chromalloy also announced more than $29 million in investments during the past year to expand its casting operation in Tampa, Florida, and to double capacity at its turbine component repair and manufacturing center in Thailand.

The company is a leading independent supplier of advanced repairs and services for gas turbines used in aviation and land-based applications, repairs, and refurbishes and manufactures engine components.

Chromalloy’s engineered components and blades are subject to the same FAA requirements and scrutiny as OEM-produced equipment. The company’s replacement parts for aircraft engines are FAA certified to meet or exceed the performance, reliability and durability specifications of original equipment manufacturer parts. In support of marine and land-based gas turbines, Chromalloy employs identical engineering disciplines used to produce its FAA-certified parts.

Chromalloy serves commercial, military and industrial turbine engine operators worldwide and has other offices and operations in the U.A.E., Australia, Thailand, Singapore, China, Japan, the U.K., the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, France, Israel, Mexico and the U.S. In 2009, the company announced TSI Aviation as its sales and marketing representative in Latin America.
