Cessna Aircraft Company, is encouraged by signs the general aviation industry is growing in India with increased interest in the Citation family of business jets.
HYDERABAD, India, March 3, 2010 – Cessna Aircraft Company, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, is encouraged by signs the general aviation industry is growing in India.
"Over the past several months, we've seen increased interest in the Citation family of business jets, especially the Citation CJ2+ and Citation XLS+," said Todd Duhnke, Cessna's director of International Sales.
"Our strong relationship with Cessna authorized sales representative and service facility Taneja Aerospace & Aviation, located in Bangalore, India, has helped us gain a strong presence in the area as well as demonstrate the importance of general and business aviation to this growing economy," he said.
In partnership with Textron sister company Bell Helicopter, Cessna is participating in India Aviation 2010 located at Begumpet Airport (VOHY) March 3-7 in Hyderabad, India. There will be a Citation CJ2+, Citation Mustang, Grand Caravan and Skyhawk on static display during the show.
