Pexco Signs License Agreement With Boeing

Pexco, a leading plastic extruder, today announced it has entered into a data license with The Boeing Company allowing the use of detail engineering design data to obtain Parts Manufacturing Authority (PMA) for replacement spare parts.

YAKIMA, Wash. (March 3, 2010) – Pexco, a leading plastic extruder, today announced it has entered into a data license with The Boeing Company allowing the use of detail engineering design data to obtain Parts Manufacturing Authority (PMA) for replacement spare parts. The license will permit Pexco to manufacture licensed PMA parts under Pexco’s FAA approved quality system and distribute directly to operators.

Pexco has been licensed to manufacture BAC1522 raw plastic extrusions, as well as many fabricated and assembled finished parts. This agreement will allow it to provide airlines, distributors, operators and others with the OEM-quality parts that have been supplied to Boeing for more than 30 years. Pexco products are used on all of Boeing’s airplane models.
