Brian Barrett Appointed Aerospace Group Vice President, Aftermarket Services for Crane

He will be responsible for growing Crane’s worldwide spares and Repair and Overhaul (R&O) business.

LYNNWOOD, Wash. – March 03, 2010 – Crane Aerospace & Electronics, a segment of Crane Co. (NYSE:CR), has announced the promotion of Brian Barrett as Vice President, Aftermarket Services for the Aerospace Group. In this role, Barrett is responsible for leading efforts to improve customer service levels and for strategically growing Crane’s worldwide spares and Repair and Overhaul (R&O) business. He is also responsible for the Aerospace Group’s global product support organization. Barrett is located in Burbank, California.

Prior to being appointed Vice President, Aftermarket Services, Barrett held the position of Director of Repair and Overhaul Services for Crane Aerospace & Electronics. Before joining Crane, he spent nine years with the Triumph Group, most recently in the role of Division President for the Valencia, California site of Triumph Actuation Systems. In this role, Barrett was also responsible for the FAA repair station. Prior to working with Triumph, Barrett was the Director of Aftermarket Services Business Development for Curtiss Wright Flight Controls and before that he served as the Director of Aftermarket for Menasco Landing Gear Overhaul Division. Barrett holds an FAA private pilot’s license and senior parachute rigger’s license.
