Paradigm Aerospace Corporation Transitions to PAC International

March 8, 2010
PAC International is the latest iteration for a company that has continuously provided quality services to the rotary wing business segment for over 30 years.

PAC International, a global provider of helicopter completions, customizing, maintenance and component repair and overhaul services, is keeping its old name, Paradigm Aerospace Corporation, but simplifying its branding to PAC International. There is a lot in a name. Under previous management, the name Paradigm was adopted to reflect the new paradigm in quality rotary wing support services that the company is known for providing. While well intentioned, the name Paradigm has proven to be hard to pronounce and spell, especially in the international community. Therefore, they transitioned from the long name to their three letter initials, PAC, and have added “International” to reflect their new thrust to build the international components of their business.

While the branding is new, the company isn’t. PAC International is the latest iteration for a company that has continuously provided quality services to the rotary wing business segment for over 30 years. However, it has now embarked on measures to enhance the position of the company and serve the expanded business base with a broader array of services.

Indeed, PAC is undertaking various measures to build on its existing base of business:

To improve its access to the international marketplace, PAC has built relationships with a number of representatives who are influential in driving business opportunities in Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia.

To broaden its business base and its business portfolio, the company is expanding its capabilities in component repair and overhaul services and spare parts sales. These services are also more in demand in the broader market.

While PAC will still provide industry leading services to individual customers with small fleets of aircraft, it is expanding into larger fleet operators, including military operators, both at home and abroad so as to increase its program business.

All of these initiatives will serve to provide for an even stronger company to provide services for its customers. However, there are some things that will never change. PAC will still continue to be that Western Pennsylvania based company that builds close relationships with its customers and provides quality rotary wing support services at very competitive prices. That has been a very effective element of their strategy in the past and those qualities will continue on in the future.
