Paris, Amstelveen, 18 March 2010 - Last December, Vladivostok Air and AFI KLM E&M signed an exclusive five-year contract for the maintenance of the CF6 80 E1 engines powering the Russian carrier’s A330s. The agreement also covers access to spare engines.
A world-class MRO for this engine type
Vladivostok Air has chosen the sole European provider of maintenance services for the latest addition to General Electric’s CF6 family of power plants.
AFI KLM E&M began developing its capabilities for this type of engine in 2005, which now comprise the full range of maintenance activities plus a series of tests. AFI KLM E& maintains 30% of the global fleet of CF6 80 E1 equipped aircraft, a solid guarantee for the Russian airline.
