Sabreliner Corporation has named Steven C. Sperry as its vice president, business development.

“Steve has over 30 years of experience in the aerospace industry,” said D. J. “Jim” Meier, senior vice president, government and corporate aviation services for the aviation services provider. “His management background in business development and government contracting is vital as we grow our government and subcontracting services business.”

Since 2001, Sperry had been director of business development for GKN Aerospace in St. Louis. Prior to that, he served as director of operations, program director, project engineer and director of business development for Advanced Technical Products in Marion, Va. On behalf of Northrop’s B-2 Division in Pico Rivera, Ca., Sperry managed a team responsible for the fabrication of composite aircraft assemblies. He began his aerospace career as a manufacturing foreman and engineer for Fairchild Republic Co. in Hagerstown, Md., where he also supervised a group which manufactured aircraft structures and components.
