April 15, 2010 Love Field, Dallas, TX - Business Jet Access (BJA), a leading aviation services provider, has been awarded an FAR Part 145 Repair Station Certificate.
In making the announcement, Brian Hoffman, General Manager, Business Jet Access, said the repair station certification will build on the company’s solid foundation in Part 135 operations and maintenance through expanded on-site maintenance services to include routine inspections, repair, troubleshooting and Line Replaceable Units (LRU).
The issuance of Repair Station Number Z5JR953Y includes limited airframe ratings for Falcon 900 series, Hawker 800 series, Hawker 850XP and Citation 650 aircraft. Also covered are limited powerplant ratings for various TFE731 engine derivatives.
“With the awarding of the FAR Part 145 Repair Station Certificate, we now have in place the essential component to complete turn-key airframe and engine maintenance,” said John Hayes, Director of Maintenance for BJA. David Eller, Chief Inspector added, “This includes the all important FAA documentation, certifying repairs meet FAA inspection and repair requirements, which accompanies the airframe or engine through the return-to-service process.”
Located at Dallas’ Love Field, Business Jet Access occupies 12,000 sq. ft. of hangar space dedicated to the Part 145 Repair Station operation.
