Honeywell Extends Maintenance Service With GoJet Airlines

PHOENIX, April 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Honeywell (NYSE: HON) announced today that it has extended a maintenance agreement with GoJet Airlines through 2023, increasing aftermarket service and support on Honeywell products to include 25 Bombardier CRJ700 aircraft. The total contract is valued at $4.5 million.

"Honeywell's engineering expertise will ensure our safety products are operating at peak performance, enabling GoJet to fly more safely while lowering expenses," said Mike Madsen, vice president of Airlines, Honeywell Aerospace.

Honeywell equipment covered by the agreement includes Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning Systems (EGPWS), start control valves and air turbine starters installed on GoJet's CRJ700 aircraft.

The addition of the six recently delivered aircraft to the existing agreement increases the number of aircraft covered from 19 to 25. Honeywell has provided maintenance on Honeywell products since 2005, when GoJet began operations.
