ATLANTA, April 27, 2010 – Delta Air Lines’ (NYSE: DAL) maintenance
division, Delta TechOps, today announced that the company has signed a long-term strategic contract with Global Avia Logistics (GAL) to support the overhaul and repair services of Nordwind Airline’s Pratt & Whitney 2000 Series (PW2000) engines and GTCP 331-200 auxiliary power units (APUs). The engine and APU maintenance will support Nordwind’s Boeing 757 fleet, which is operated in Asia and Europe.

Delta TechOps, which services more than half of the PW2000 market, has extensive operational experience and material access for this engine type.
