Bombardier Names Comlux Aviation Services as an Authorized Service Facility

Bombardier Aerospace today announced that Comlux Aviation Services of Indianapolis, Indiana, has been appointed as an authorized service facility (ASF) for its business aircraft.

Indianapolis, April 27, 2010 – Bombardier Aerospace today announced that Comlux Aviation Services of Indianapolis, Indiana has been appointed as an authorized service facility (ASF) for its business aircraft. Bombardier now has 41 facilities, consisting of ASFs and line maintenance facilities (LMF), in 21 countries catering to its business aircraft customers, with additional backing provided by seven Bombardier-owned Service Centers, including its recently opened European Service Centre in Amsterdam.

A designated Aircraft-On-Ground (AOG) LMF for Bombardier Business Aircraft since May 2009, Comlux is now an ASF for Bombardier Learjet 40, Learjet 45, Learjet 60, Challenger 604, Challenger 605 and Challenger 850 jets. The facility will retain its status as an AOG LMF for Challenger 300 and Global aircraft. "We are proud to be part of the Bombardier Authorized Service Facility network. Comlux Aviation Services, a subsidiary of the Swiss-based Comlux The Aviation Group, is a full-service operation with over 30 years of experience in business jet maintenance. The facility, located at the Indianapolis International Airport, features 47,000 sq ft (4,366 sq m) of hangar space and 134 employees, including 44 aircraft maintenance personnel and fully-staffed engineering, avionics installation, interior refurbishment and sheet metal teams. With a planned expansion forecasted for completion by the second quarter of 2011, Comlux will have capacity to work on up to 12 aircraft simultaneously.
