Midcoast Aviation Launches New AOG Hotline
Calls to the hotline number – 877-313-5999 – are answered 24-hours a day, seven days a week by a qualified member of Midcoast’s MRO division.
St. Louis, Missouri, April 27, 2010 – Midcoast Aviation has set up a new toll-free hotline to assist aircraft operators with any and all emergency and/or AOG situations. Calls to the hotline number – 877-313-5999 – are answered 24-hours a day, seven days a week by a qualified member of Midcoast’s MRO division.
“Once a call is received, we do everything we can to assist that customer,” notes Skip Madsen, vice president, MRO operations. “After gathering all information relevant to the problem at hand, we enlist personnel from the appropriate combination of internal departments, and even the OEM if needed, to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.”
If necessary, Midcoast will dispatch a mobile maintenance team to assist with AOG situations in the field or at an aircraft’s home base of operation.
