Paris, Amstelveen, 4 May 2010 - AFI KLM E&M has expanded its VIP offering with the VIP Quick Change Kit enabling operators to change the configuration of their aircraft from commercial to VIP in between 12 and 48 hours, according to operator requirements and layout complexity.
Commercial or VIP a very quick implementation! The new cabin modification concept allows avoiding cost of an aircraft exclusively dedicated to VIP operations. With the VIP Quick Change Kit, a single aircraft can fulfill multiple roles from conventional passenger transport, to VIP journeys. The kit enables operators to modify cabin configuration in less than 48 hours. Part of the cabin can thus be transformed into a VIP lounge for presidential travel or special events. And returning the aircraft to its original configuration is just as fast. As a result, customers no longer need aircraft dedicated to special events and can accordingly maximize the return on investment of their fleet.
To deliver these services, AFI KLM E&M can count on 15 years’ experience in carrying out many similar programs on behalf of Royalty, Heads of State and Government and for the Air France fleet. A dedicated team of 140 highly-qualified engineers carries out the modifications using state-of-the-art software.
