LINCOLN, NEB — Duncan Aviation recently completed a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the installation of the Aircell ATG-4000 / ATG 5000 Wi-Fi system in the Citation 750. The system provides high speed inflight connectivity in the cabin. Passengers will be able to use their laptops, Blackberrys, iPhones and other Wi-Fi devices at connection speeds of 1-3 MBPS, providing an experience similar to that of ground-based Wi-Fi connections.

The system consists of an aircraft certified High Speed Data (HSD) unit, wireless router and two bellow mounted antennas. The STC was certified under Duncan Aviation’s STC and Major Repair and Alterations (MRA) Organization Designation Authorization (ODA).

"We are pleased to offer this upgrade to the Citation X community. As the fastest business aircraft in existence and a true workhorse in the fast-paced business community, this STC path provides operators the ability to further extend the productivity of their aircraft," said Steve Elofson, Manager of Avionics Installations Sales for Duncan Aviation.

Duncan Aviation already has several other Citation 750s in line to complete this upgrade. For more information on this installation or other avionics solutions, please contact a member of the avionics sales team.
