Aviation Technical Services Names Nitsche Vice President of Operations

Aviation Technical Services (ATS) announced Landon Nitschke will join the company as Vice President of Operations.

Everett, WA, May 13, 2010 – Aviation Technical Services (ATS) announced Landon Nitschke will join the company as Vice President of Operations.

Nitschke joins ATS with 18 years of experience with Northwest Airlines and Delta Air Lines where he recently held roles as the director of heavy maintenance and subsequently director of line maintenance for Minneapolis and the West region. At Northwest, Nitschke was responsible for 4,000 technicians in heavy maintenance operations. Prior to being director of heavy maintenance at Northwest, Nitschke’s positions included maintenance manager, operations manager, director of base maintenance and managing director of line maintenance operations. Prior to joining Northwest, Nitschke worked as an aircraft technician for Tramco (which eventually became Aviation Technical Services). Nitschke is a licensed A&P mechanic for both Airframe and Powerplant and holds multiple minor degrees in Airline Management and Business Administration & Safety from the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
