Avidyne Appoints Duncan Aviation to Provide Exclusive Repair Services for Legacy Display Systems

Duncan Aviation will be the worldwide repair center for Avidyne’s first-generation 5-RR and FlightMax Multi-Function Displays.

Lincoln, MA. – May 27, 2010--– Avidyne Corporation, a leading provider of integrated flight decks, displays, and safety systems for general aviation aircraft, announced they have entered into an agreement with Duncan Aviation, Inc. of Lincoln, Nebraska, who will become the exclusive provider of repair services for Avidyne customers that are using first-generation Flight Situation Displays (FSD) and early-model FlightMax® Multi-Function Displays (MFD).

Under the terms of this agreement, Duncan Aviation will be the worldwide repair center for Avidyne’s legacy display products including the 5-RR FSD, and the FlightMax 440, 450, 640, 650, 700, 740, 750, 800, 850 & 950 model MFDs.

Repair and service of Avidyne’s FSDs and legacy FlightMax MFDs will be fully transitioned to Duncan Aviation’s Lincoln facility within the next thirty to sixty days, and customers will not experience any interruption in service or delays in quoted turn-around times.
