Piqua, Ohio – June 7, 2010. Hartzell Propeller Inc. has selected Northwest Propeller Inc, of Puyallup, Washington, to join its network of Recommended Service Facilities (RSF). Northwest Propeller was founded in 1985 and is located at the Pierce Country Airport at Thun Field in Washington State.

Northwest brings to 21 the number of Hartzell RSFs situated in strategic locations around the world. Hartzell maintains a high standard throughout its entire network, and to achieve its RSF status requires a strict certification process, as well as ongoing training and evaluation.

Hartzell’s senior vice-president of marketing and customer services, Mike Disbrow said, “We selected Northwest Propeller because of its continued focus on quality and customer service, which is a pre-requisite for any Hartzell repair facility. Northwest is also well located to act as our representative to customers in the Pacific north-west region.”

Hartzell Propeller is widely recognized as the leader in advanced propeller design and manufacturing technology. The company has developed the next generation of propellers based upon innovative "blended airfoil" technology and is manufacturing these blades on revolutionary machining centers, or with its new ASC-II™ composite technology, to provide mission-optimized performance for its customers. Hartzell traces its beginnings in 1917 to a business relationship with Orville Wright and was founded on the principle of "Built on Honor" - a tradition that continues today.
