AFI KLM E&M Sets Up New China Logistics Center Partnership with China Eastern Aviation Import & Export Corp

AFI KLM E&M to supply components and manage activity while CEAIEC is responsible for the storage, importing and exporting of parts.

Paris, Amstelveen, 15 June 2010 – AFI KLM E&M and CEAIEC, the China Eastern Aviation Import & Export Corp., have signed a partnership agreement to set up a logistics center in China. The new China Logistic Center will drive AFI KLM E&M business on China’s aircraft components market while ensuring that AFI KLM E&M’s Chinese clients enjoy access to a full range of serviceable parts near their home bases.

Well-defined roles. Under the terms of the partnership, AFI KLM E&M is going to supply the components and manage activity end-to-end. CEAIEC, for its part, is responsible for the storage and importing exporting parts to and from France, Netherlands and China. CEAIEC is going to monitor also the local repair stations TAT performance for the logistics processes in PRC including transportation.
