FL Technics (Lithuania), one of the leading and the fastest-growing aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) provider in Eastern Europe, starts to develop extensive network of Line stations in European countries. The company in June opened new Line station in Milan Malpensa Airport and currently operates 9 Line stations with plans to expand this network to a total of 30 locations by 2012.

"We have approved the comprehensive USD 25 million investment program for the 2010-2015 period and development of Line stations’ network is part of it. The main advantages that allow us to expand to the European airports are our highly skilled technicians and lower cost of services. The main directions of our development are regional airports in Poland, Italy, Sweden, Norway, and CIS countries with annual capacity of more than 0.5 million passengers and without local MRO base," says Jonas Butautis, CEO of FL Technics.

According to J. Butautis, the aviation industry in Lithuania is well developed and companies are strictly supervised by the civil aviation authorities. Lithuanian aviation specialists are trained in accordance with EU requirements and have a high qualification. On the other hand, Lithuania, compared with other European countries, has cheaper labour market and FL Technics can offer to its customers the best price for European quality at its Line stations.
