East Alton, IL, June 23, 2010 – West Star Aviation, Inc. is pleased to announce that John Hardy will take on the position as Director of Spare Parts Sales. John will be located at the East Alton, IL, facility; however, he will oversee the entire operation of parts sales for all West Star Aviation locations.
A returning face for West Star, Hardy previously worked in the East Alton facility as Director of Avionics. Prior to his recent return, he has also been employed as a Project Engineer at Liberty Partners, and Director of Sales and Operations at Avionics Sales Corp. previous to that.
Hardy brings with him over twenty years of experience, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Management from SIU-Carbondale. He started his career in the Air National Guard, and continued from there developing his strong aviation background.
With West Star’s recent decision to consolidate all surplus avionics sales and service at its East Alton facility, Hardy will be there to ensure the same levels of quality and customer service expected from this division. Under Hardy’s leadership, this transition will be handled with the scope of knowledge and professionalism West Star Aviation is known for providing.
