Changxing, China. June 22, 2010. The SINO American Aerospace Industrial Park in Changxing, China is exhibiting at the Farnborough Air Show (booth 3/B6). The industrial park, part of an economic development zone, was established to support Tier II, III and IV suppliers that want to set up facilities in China to support COMAC’s large passenger jet programs, international aerospace primes and Tier I suppliers that are placing large work packages with major AVIC companies as well as setting up their own facilities in China.

Chinese production of aircraft as well as global subcontracting represent an important but highly competitive business opportunity for US and Western civil aviation suppliers, and it is critical to have local support and operations to increase access to Chinese sales opportunities.

The SINO American Aerospace Industrial Park provides complete business services to help to smaller and medium sized American and Western aerospace companies enter the Chinese market. Among these services are:

One stop administrative approval services for China business registration

Government provided investment incentive program

Government sponsored vocational training for aerospace suppliers and tailored training for enterprises

Purchase and build-to-spec or rent available facilities or rent built-to-spec facilities

Logistics services providing for all freight and import/export needs

Consulting and support for marketing activities

Changxing, a modern city located 90 miles west of Shanghai, is served by major highways and high speed rail systems. The city is already home to such American companies as Whirlpool, Johnson Controls and Air Products. Among the major industries located in the development zone are mechanical and automotive components, electronic products and eco-friendly power systems. Cited in 2008 by the United Nations, as an “International Garden City,” Changxing has focused on environmentally sustainable development and is recognized as a “national example county” in culture, technology advances and sanitation.
