Air France Industries Selected by China Eastern Airline for Engine Repair Service

Air France Industries has been selected by China Eastern Airlines for CFM56-5C and CF6-80C2 repair services. China Eastern Airlines currently operates five Airbus A340-300s powered by CFM56-5C engines and 10 CF6-80C2-powered Airbus A300-600s.

The CFM56-5C engines will be repaired in the Air France Industries shop at Paris/Orly, the CF6-80C2 engines in either the Air France Industries shop or the new KLM Engineering & Maintenance shop located at Amsterdam/Schiphol.

Together Air France Industries and KLM E&M offer an outstanding capability in engine support, covering the whole array of GE and CFM engines, including the latest CF6-80E1, CFM56-7, GE90 series.

China Eastern had already built up a relationship with Air France Industries and KLM Engineering & Maintenance in the early part of this decade on engine, airframe and component repair services.
